If you propose shipping Unaccompanied Goods into Australia chances are that you will engage a nominated Shipping Agent in your home country. If you haven't nominated a Shipping Agent contact us at Boltt and we can recommend an agent in your country.
Remember the goods are to be Exported from your home country and Imported into Australia. Goods that travel by ship are locked into a container and the container is sealed.
Depending how large the consignment is, you might have full container, a partial container or just a box or suitcase. Whatever you have, your nominated Shipping Agent will designate an Agent like Boltt International to guide the container, holding your goods, from the wharf in Australia to a Secure Australian Customs Bonded Warehouse. Boltt is accredited by both
Australian Customs and Australian Quarantine Inspection Services.
When the goods arrive in the container at the warehouse, the container seal will be broken and the goods removed from the container and stored safely in the Bonded Warehouse awaiting Customs and Quarantine clearance.
Boltt International Bonded Warehouse is in Seven Hills, NSW near the geographic center of Sydney. Goods brought there cannot be moved out until both Customs and Quarantine approves their clearance.
Trained staff at Boltt International will contact you informing you that we are looking after your consignment and guiding it through the various phases of importing your goods into Australia.
Once cleared we make arrangements with you to collect your effects or setup a time when it's best to deliver them to you. We have our own professionally trained removalists and we can deliver anywhere in Australia.
Boltt can also arrange to store your goods if you are not in a position to take delivery of them.
Placing your goods in Boltt's hands means you are placing your goods in safe hands.
